I woke up this morning to a beautiful new day. I felt as close to wide awake and refreshed as I ever come (which means I will be, for me, obnoxiously perky). The unseasonably warm weather we've been having means that it is a beautiful spring day in the middle of January. The President-Elect, Barack Obama, and his posse are traveling down the mid-Atlantic making their way to D.C.
I heard an interview this morning with will.i.am. He said that when inspiration calls you don't let it go to voice mail - you answer it, listen and then take action. I'll be listening for inspiration today.
The photo is of the lovely plant Elisa Camahort Page and her S.O. gave me in sympathy when Gracie died. That was Autumn and the small yellow flowers have dried up and fallen off. However, this new flower just emerged. As we head towards inauguration and Spring, nature is giving us a preview and sent me this sign of re-birth.
I'm unbelievably happy and hopeful today. It is a feeling that should be celebrated.

Hey Cool!!
